Jordyn Taylor

As a woman with a disability, Jordyn has always felt compelled to use her work as a means of challenging societal notions of disability and autonomy. She uses her practice as an artist to argue that the disabled body shouldn't be considered a failure but rather an example of how the human body is capable of functioning under incredibly diverse circumstances. Her work focuses on themes relating to bodily integrity and chronic illness, and in particular, the challenge that comes with maintaining one while navigating the other.
